Our Annual Agricultural Fair is Every Labour Day Weekend
2010 marks our 120th Fair!
Each year we try to add new features, events and attractions to the traditionally popular "Winners" at our Fair. Watch for announcements on our What's New page. This page will display details of changes and/or additions to our Midway operations (including wristband policy & sales).
Our 2010 Fair Books will be available mid July and available at Marmora Valu-Mart,
Cook's Barber Shop, JRS Variety (Springbrook) and the Tourist Information Center or contact MAS
Admission to the Fairgrounds 2009:
Saturday & Sunday: $5.00/day
Monday: $2.00 Tooney/Looney Day
Age 12 & under: FREE (When Accompanied by an Adult)
North Gate - Pedestrians Only
South Gate - Vehicle Entrace

- Homecraft entries are to be in place Sat Sept. 5 by 10am; Judging to being by 11am.

Antique Tractor Pull
→ Although the entry form requires completion at the fair, we have now added the Entry Form for the Antique Tractor Pull at our 2009 Marmora Fair, to our Docs & Forms page.
2009 Colouring Contest
Open to ages 10 & under: Pick up colouring sheets at Cooks Barber Shop and Twist!

Marmora Fair 2009 Promotions:
- Beginning July?, 2009, one Advance Midway Wrist Band will be donated to the Kids Door Prizes at the #7 Classic Cruisers weekly Thursday evening Cruise Nights, in downtown Marmora. Individuals or businesses may sponsor the Wrist Bands. If you would like to sponsor a Wrist Band, please contact the Fair Board at 613-472-5403.
- Beginning July?, 2008, the Marmora Agricultural Society will hold a FREE weekly draw for a Weekend Pass. These draws will take place each Thursday evening at the Cruise Nights. Entry forms and deposit containers are located at Cook’s Barber Shop, Dixie Lee and Sam’s (in Cordova). Other locations may be added. You need not be present to win.
Best "Promotional Display" Contest
Open to: Any family (one entry per residence) within 20km radius of Marmora.
No Entry or Exhibitor Fee.

Rules:
- A Display of any size or shape to be decorated with a suitable medium to promote the fair.
- A sign must accompany the display and must be clearly visible from the road. The sign must state "Marmora Fair - September 5- September 7, 2009".
- Display must face the road and be on own property, not road allowance.
- Entry form must be received by the Marmora Agricultural Society no later than August 15, 2009.
- Display must be in place by Aug. 22/09 & must remain in place until Sept. 7/09.
- Judging will occur prior to the fair & pictures of the display will be displayed during the fair.

Fair Book Cover Contest:
We need your help with the design for our Fair Book Cover. This competition is open to all.
Submit your designs, concepts, ideas, drawings or photos to MAS by the 15th of March next year. What the fair means to you! What you like best!
Remember, this is an Agricultural Fair and should reflect our rural roots - also that it is 3 days of family fun.
Prizes to be arranged.
